When you connect your Google account, Inbox Assistant may request permission to access Gmail features necessary for the app to function.

This may include access to:

• Email sender information
• Email subject lines
• Email message content
• Email snippets and dates
• Information required to send emails when requested by the user

2. How Gmail Data Is Used

Gmail data is used only to provide features requested by the user, including:

• Displaying recent emails
• Summarizing emails
• Extracting key points
• Analyzing email content
• Answering questions about emails
• Generating draft replies
• Sending emails after user confirmation

3. AI Processing

When a user requests an AI-powered feature, relevant email content may be transmitted securely to our backend service and to an artificial intelligence provider in order to generate the requested response.

Inbox Assistant may use AI services including Google Gemini, OpenRouter, and Groq depending on service availability.

Only information necessary to perform the requested AI operation should be sent for processing.

4. Email Sending

Inbox Assistant does not intentionally send an email without a user action. Users are given the opportunity to review the recipient, subject, and message before confirming an email send operation.

5. Data Selling and Advertising

Inbox Assistant does not sell Gmail user data.

Gmail data is not used for personalized advertising or advertising profiling.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

Inbox Assistant's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect user information. Authentication tokens and API credentials should not be publicly exposed and are used only for providing application functionality.

8. Third-Party Services

Inbox Assistant may use third-party infrastructure and AI services such as Google, Cloudflare, OpenRouter, and Groq.

These services may process information necessary to provide the requested application functionality and are governed by their respective privacy policies and terms.

9. Disconnecting Google Account Access

Users may disconnect their Google account from Inbox Assistant. Users can also review or revoke third-party access to their Google account through their Google Account security settings.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Inbox Assistant features or data practices change. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page.
